Since the late 1990's, AJC has been offering concrete delivery services to the Verde Valley and surrounding areas. The owner, Randy Torman began operations with a single volumetric mixer and specialized in small projects where orders averaged between one and four yards of concrete. As the area grew and the demand for concrete increased, AJC purchased two additional volumetic mixers to service the small order market.
In 2000, Randy saw the opportunity to expand his business even further. With Randy's previous experience in the concrete production and delivery industry, he considered the advantages of adding a front discharge mixer to his fleet. With that in mind, he purchased a batch plant and introduced the first front discharge mixer in the Verde Valley. As the Verde Valley construction market continued to boom, Randy saw another opportunity to expand and service his customers needs. Two concrete pumps were added to the fleet to exclusively service AJC customers. Collectively, these decisions have increased the level of satisfaction, loyalty and overall profitability for AJC's customers. Through out the past 20 years, Randy has added a computerized Solomon color system and is a Brickform Dealer as well.
Today, AJC's fleet includes six front discharge mixers, two concrete pumps, two dump trucks, two bulk product trucks, along with several ready and able employees who continue to offer full service concrete solutions in the Verde Valley.
